Battle of the brains

Trivia is better when someone’s pride is at stake.

BrainSlap is a competitive trivia arena built around fast ten-question battles. Face an instant recorded rival, challenge a friend with the same questions, compare scores and build a rivalry that remembers every win.

More than a list of random questions

A good trivia game creates meaningful decisions. Accuracy matters, but so does speed. Easy questions help players settle into the match; harder questions create separation as the battle develops. Both players receive the same question set so the result feels understandable and worth discussing. BrainSlap turns that structure into a lightweight social competition rather than a solitary knowledge test.

The goal is not to prove that one person knows everything. Nobody does. The fun comes from discovering where your knowledge is strong, where your instincts help, and which surprising question changes the result. A close loss creates an obvious reason for revenge. A convincing win creates an equally obvious reason to share the receipt.

What BrainSlap measures

Every battle combines correct answers, response speed and question difficulty into a match score. Arena Rating is separate: it represents competitive results over time rather than raw points from one game. A player can produce a high score and still meet an even stronger opponent. Likewise, a lower-scoring battle can still be a valuable win if the questions were difficult and the rival struggled too.

That distinction keeps the game understandable. Match score answers “How did I perform in this battle?” Arena Rating answers “How have I performed against other players over time?” Rivalry records answer the most personal question: “Who is winning between the two of us?”
